This website aims to conform to the following accessibility standard:

• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 Level AA)

Although most of our customers aren’t based in Israel, we follow internationally recognized WCAG 2.0 AA standards to ensure an inclusive experience for all users.

Scope

This statement covers all public-facing pages of chefpatrick.net, including:

• Marketing pages (Home – About us – Services – Our Team – Gallery – Log-in)
• Recipe Index, Single Post Tamplates & Single Recipe Templates
• User Login & Personal Dashboard

Conformance Status

As of June 30, 2025, our site scores 90 in the Lighthouse Accessibility audit. 

This indicates strong overall conformance with WCAG 2.0 AA. Remaining issues are primarily related to video captions and advanced ARIA semantics, and we’re on track to resolve them by the end of Q2 2026.

Accessibility Features

• Keyboard Navigation: Full support for tabbing through menus, links, and form controls.
• Text Alternatives: All meaningful images include descriptive alt text.
• Heading Structure: Clear, semantic H1–H6 order for logical navigation.
• Color Contrast: Text and interface elements meet WCAG 2.0 AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text).
• Form Labels & Errors: Every form field has an associated label; inline, accessible error messages appear when fields are missing or invalid.
• Resizable Text: Content scales up to 200% without loss of functionality or readability.

Known Issues

• Video Captions: Captions for background and testimonial videos are in development.
• ARIA Semantics: Some dynamic widgets (e.g., recipe filters) require enhanced ARIA roles and properties.
